The file contains correspondence between the Bahrain Petroleum Company Limited (BAPCO) representative, the Adviser to the Governement of Bahrain and the Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. in Basra on a proposal by the Anglo-Persian Oil Company (APOC) to install a petrol service station in Bahrain.
