Foliation: India Office The department of the British Government to which the Government of India reported between 1858 and 1947. The successor to the Court of Directors. foliation in Western Arabic numerals stamped in black ink;

Ruling: Misṭarah ; 37 lines per page; vertical spacing 17 lines per 10 cm

Script: Naskh

Ink: Black ink, with diagrams and overlinings in red

Binding: British Museum binding

Condition: Some waterstains; because of extensive worm damage (not now visible) the entire manuscript has been disbound and each folio lined with silk, inlaid in western paper and attached to guards before being rebound

Marginalia: Very few
