The letter is explaining that if a peaceable arrangement can be made for the removal of the Kenn fleet from Kateef [Al-Qaṭīf], and the peace between Ameer Fysul and Shaikh Mahomed ben Khuleef established; the British squadron at Bahrain can be removed. It explains that under such circumstances, the Shaikh of Bahrain would expect the return of a boat seized by the Kenn fleet.
