In this letter, received 3 November 1833, John Bax, Secretary to Government, Bombay, writes to David Anderson Blane, Resident in the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. , Bushire, acknowledging the receipt of Blane's letter, dated 25 July 1833, and of the translation of Blane's correspondence with the Government Agent at Sharga [Sharjah], regarding the jurisdiction of the Wahabee [Wahabi] Chief on the Russul Kheema [Ra's al-Khaymah] coast. He reports that the Government in Council approves of Blane's proceedings. He ends the letter by stating that he awaits Blane's further communication on the plunder of the Cutch Nouree .
