In this letter James Pringle Riach, Assistant Surgeon, Bushire, informs Henry Willock, Secretary in Charge of His Majesty's Mission in Persia, that he has received his dispatches of 15 December 1823 on 10 February 1824. Riach reports the receipt of documents for the Shah and the Prince Royal of Persia, and promises to forward authenticated copies at the earliest opportunity. Riach reports the payment of a salary increase to the Agent at Shiraz. In addition, he states that he has informed the merchants at Bushire that the payment of the bills, dated 12 December 1823, which were granted to Persia on the Bombay and Bengal Government From c. 1758-1858, the East India Company's administration in Bengal. From 1773-1833, the most senior of the three subdivisions of India, also known as the Supreme Government of India. From 1858-1947, a subdivision of the British Raj. , has been stopped. Riach concludes by stating that he has forwarded to Willock a packet of public letters from Bombay.
