Treatise on the mensuration of conic sections by Ibrāhīm ibn Sinān ibn Thābit ibn Qurrah (إبراهيم بن سنان بن ثابت بن قرّة, d. 946).

The text contains seven diagrams, which are collected on a fold out (f. 197r) at the end of the text.

Begins (f. 191v, lines 2-3):

قد كنت علمت كتابًا في مساحة هذا القطع قديمًا وغيرت في شكل منه سأتم

صاعت النسخة المصلحة والنسخة القديمة ...

Ends (ff. 196r, lines 11-196v, line 1):

فإذن نسبة قطعة ا ح ذ إلى قطعة ب ج د كنسبة ح ج إلى حرمتناه بنسبة إذا ثنبت

بالتكرير كانت كنسبة ح ج إلى حر وعلى هذا المثال نبين أن كل قطعتين من قطع

مكافي هذه حالهما وذلك مكان غرضنا أن نبينه ...
