Black and white reproduction of a map of Makalla [Al-Mukallā], Yemen. Text below the map scale states that it was enlarged from an Admiralty map, and produced at Steamer Point, Aden, on 20 July 1902. The original map was signed E M Little, 2nd Lieutenant of the R.G.A. [Royal Garrison Artillery]. The map shows the coastline and town of Makalla, with significant buildings (fort, palace, barracks) and topography indicated. Soundings Measurements of the depth of a body of water. of the coastal waters are given in fathoms.
