Annual Reports of the Political Agency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, headed by an agent. and Consulate, Muscat (later Political Agency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, headed by an agent. , Muscat), on the working of the Muscat Order in Council A regulation issued by the sovereign of the United Kingdom on the advice of the Privy Council. , 1915 , for the years 1916-1947 inclusive. The reports provide lists of officers appointed as Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. for the period in question, statistical information on numbers of civil suits, criminal cases, estate proceedings, insolvency proceedings, court fees, and registration of British subjects and British protected persons, and related information.
