Glubh met Ibn Zeid on January 7th and
discussed Atoon raid. Ibn Zeid did not attempt to
justify retention of the looted camels on the ground
that Atoon are not Trans Jordanian Tribesmen but
contended that Hejaz Government were entitled to
seize camels recognized as having been formerly
raided from the hejaz Tribes, a contention which ignores
the verbal agreement reached by Glubb and Ibn Zeid at
first meeting in the Bpring of 1931 as well as

Mac Donnell award.
Taxation of Trans Jordan Tribes by Nejd officials
was also discussed.
