Treatise on contemporary European discoveries and theories in astronomy and other sciences by Mīr Muḥammad Ḥusayn ibn ‘Abd al-‘Aẓīm Iṣfahānī Landanī (مير محمد حسين بن عبد العظيم إصفهاني لندني, d. 1790) written in response to a request by ‘Abd al-Qādir ibn Khayr al-Dīn ‘Amādī Jawnpūrī (عبد القادر بن خير الدين عمادي جونپوري, d. 1787). The title as given in this manuscript is the Treatise of Mīr Ḥusayn Landanī Concerning the Response He Sent to Master ‘Abd al-Qādir Jawnpūrī on The Discovery of the New Opinions of the English (رسالة مير حسين لندني در جواب رجّعه مولوي عبد القادر جون بوري در انكشاف أراء جديدة انكليز , f. 130r).

Begins (f. 130v, lines 2-5):

الحمد لله رب العالمين والصلوة على خاتم السنين محمد وآله وأصحابه أجمعين وبعد فقد

ورد على كتاب الولي الوقي والصديق الصفي أطال الله بقاءه وجعل إلى أعلى المدارج

ارتقاءه وأيد الله بنصره وجعل أيامه غرة عصره وافيًا بخير العافية

كاشفًا عن مودة صافية إذ يرفعني إلى سماك السماك ويفرطني ...

Ends (f. 141r, lines 1-2):

... ولها منزل على كل أرض وها (؟) على كل ومنه أثار ولنقتصر بهذا

الكلام في هذا المقام ولنختم الرسالة بالتحية والسلام
