Similarly all well a or "Mugayith* of Bin Saudis tribes become
in Bin Baud’s territory* Should a dispute arise as to the
lawful owners of a particular well f a visit to the place
will settle the matter as the original tribes who owned
the wells will have put their ’’Marks’ 1 on a rock or stone
near the well*
The above is my idea of settling the dispute between Bin
Baud and Salim* The dividing line should* and can only
be } one of grazing grounds and wells*
Any other attempt to settle the matter will lead to
endless tribal fighting, as the tribes themselves will
never abide by a decision that deprives them of an anaient
right. .
I ej^eot I have told you something that you are perfectly
aware of already^ Sir Persy. If I have^I 'oeg you will
forgive me.
Mrs. Phil toy 1 has landed to-day and paid me a sail. She
