. The Prilne Minister has shown me telegram from Governor-General
in answer to enquiry as to his views on the subject. He says he is 2d tv*
decision has been arrived at and that Shaukat’s duplicity was ' well
him. He advises Prime Minister to instruct Shaukat to proceed to Meshed at
once to receive Government s instructions from Governor-General vSllv
regarding matters connected with finance. He will send Hisam down wS
150 men if Shaukat does not obey. Prime Minister has sent Shaukat nrdero
accordingly and has informed Governor-General of this. 1 orders
