This volume mainly contains letters on the implementation of the General Treaty of 1820 including a system of watch and cruise and what actions to take in case of suspected piracy. It also includes a letter from H R Durham, Assistant Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. , Qishm Island, to James Dow A term adopted by British officials to refer to local sailing vessels in the western Indian Ocean. , Assistant Resident at Bushire forwarding the translation of a letter from 'the Prince of Shiraz' complaining about the occupation of Qishm island by the British. Another letter from the Accountant General, Bombay Castle to Captain William Bruce, Resident at Bushire, requests greater regularity in the transmission of accounts.
