Content: Notice of King's Regulations under Article 83 of The Kowait Order in Council A regulation issued by the sovereign of the United Kingdom on the advice of the Privy Council. , 1935 : Special Police Officers' Regulations, dated Bahrein, 23 March 1948; and letter from the Commonwealth Relations Office, Downing Street, London to the Political Resident A senior ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul General) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Residency. in the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. , dated 18 March 1948, asking the Resident to sign, date, number and return a copy of the regulations.
