Content: This file contains correspondence between British officials regarding the status and ownership of Qais [Kish] island off the coast of Iran. The file contains a discussion of the island's history and a copy (with English translation) of the sanad (deed) through which the family of the Kowam-ul-Mulk of Shiraz claimed ownership of the island.
