This file concerns the request by Reverend Father Gabriel [Fleming?], a Roman Catholic priest at Bahrain, to visit Dhahran [al-Ẓahrān] for religious services within the premises of the Arabian American Oil Company (Aramco). The request is subsequently refused by the Saudi Government Representative. Correspondents include: Major Tom Hickinbotham, Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. at Bahrain; the Representative of the Saudi Government [Mumaththi al-Ḥakūmah] at Dhahran; and Reverend Father Gabriel.
