Agent, Sharjah, to Shaikh Shakbut bin Sultan [Shakhbūṭ bin Sulṭān Āl Nahyān], Ruler of Abu Dhabi, on account of air facilities at Sir Bani Yas [Şīr Banī Yās] Island and at Abu Dhabi, for the period 13 November 1944 to 13 March 1948. The original receipts for the payments were to be sent to the Secretary to the Political Resident A senior ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul General) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Residency. in the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. .

The correspondence is arranged in chronological order from the front to the rear of the file, except where enclosures of an earlier date are filed after their relevant covering letter, and terminates with a set of notes between folios 159-164. Circled serial numbers in red and blue ink and crayon (red for incoming, blue for outgoing correspondence) refer to entries in the notes.
