The file contains correspondence regarding training in fingerprinting for Bahrain Government officials. The correspondence is between the following:

The papers cover the enquiries into and arrangements for a deputation of an expert in fingerprinting from India to train officials in Bahrain. The deputation is postponed indefinitely (beyond the time period covered by the file) due to lack of government revenue caused by the collapse of the pearl trade. Advice is sought by the Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. , Bahrain, from the police department in Basrah.
