This volume consists of two parts: Part 11 (IOR/L/PS/10/663/1) contains papers relating to the future administration of the lighting and buoying service in the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. ; Part 12 (IOR/L/PS/10/663/2) consists of papers relating to the provision of a despatch vessel for the Political Resident A senior ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul General) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Residency. in the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. .
