This volume contains two parts: IOR/L/PS/10/925/1 and IOR/L/PS/10/925/2.

IOR/L/PS/10/925/1 concerns the Kuwait-Nejd boundary dispute.

Correspondence discusses the arbitration of the British Government in the matter of the border of Kuwaiti territory under the Shaikh of Kuwait [Sālim bin Mubārak Āl Ṣabāḥ] with that of the Ruler of Nejd [Najd], Bin Saud [‘Abd al-‘Azīz bin ‘Abd al-Raḥmān bin Fayṣal Āl Sa‘ūd, popularly known as Ibn Sa‘ūd]. Correspondents include: the Civil Commissioner, Baghdad; the High Commissioner, Mesopotamia; the Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. , Kuwait; the Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. , Bahrain; the Deputy Political Resident A senior ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul General) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Residency. , Bushire; Bin Saud; Shaikh Salim, Shaikh of Kuwait; and Abdullah al Mut'ab Al-Rashid, Shaikh of Jabal Shammar.

IOR/L/PS/10/925/2 concerns expenditure on the protection of Kuwait from attack by the Akhwan [Ikwhan], including costs incurred by the dispatch of the vessels and the share of expenditure to be borne by the India Office The department of the British Government to which the Government of India reported between 1858 and 1947. The successor to the Court of Directors. and the Colonial Office.

Correspondents include: the High Commissioner, Iraq; the Senior Naval Officer, Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. ; officials of the Accountant General's Department; and the Financial Secretary, India Office The department of the British Government to which the Government of India reported between 1858 and 1947.
