This file consists of correspondence mainly from the Political Agency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, headed by an agent. , Bahrain, which details the Agent's arbitration of labour disputes between the Arabian American Oil Company and Indian 'artisan' labourers. The correspondence lists the workers' grievances and actions as well as the response by the company. The discussion emphasises accommodation, rations, salary, and repatriation.
