Correspondence and other papers relating to the visits of foreign naval vessels to the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. . The papers mostly consist of notices given for such visits, correspondence connected to the effort to obtain permission for such visits and what protocol should be followed, and several reports on visits made to Muscat and Bahrain.
