Three treatises on the prediction of future events based on astronomical, meteorological and other natural phenomena. The contents of the volume are:
- Fihrist Arisṭā [ ṭā ] līs (ff 1v-37r);
- Treatise on meteorological divination attributed to the prophet Daniel (ff 37r-64r);
- Ramādī, Ibn Murād, Tarṣīd shaḥr al-Muḥarram al-mubārrak (ff 64v-69v).
The manuscript was copied on 19 Ṣafar 1295 (22 February 1878; see colophon Section at the end of a manuscript text. of Item Three, f. 69v).

Quires: Seven quires of ten leaves; quire Collection of papers folded in half and stitched together to form a gathering of folios. marks in blue crayon in upper left-hand corners of ff. 11r, 21r, 31r, 41r, 51r and 61r
Script: Naskh
Ink: Black ink, with rubrications
Binding: British Museum binding with envelope flap
Condition: Excellent condition, with light foxing
Marginalia: some section headings marked باب in blue crayon, and very few marginal corrections and notes (e.g. ff. 57r, 68v and 69v)
