Acknowledging receipt of Hennell's previous letters concerning the slave trade, Malet expresses regret that arrangements had not been made earlier for the Honourable Company's schooner Constance to be on the Batinah Coast in time to check the season's slave trade, requesting that future arrangements will prevent recurrences of such a delay.
