Foliation: the foliation system in use commences at 1A on the front cover and continues through to 256 on the back cover. The sequence is wrtten in pencil and appears in the top right hand corner of the recto The front of a sheet of paper or leaf, often abbreviated to 'r'. page of each folio. The sequence of numbers is enclosed in a circle from f.117 on. Foliation anomalies: ff.1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E; ff.10A, 10B. The following folios need to be folded out to be read: ff.1D, 3, 8, 22, 25, 38, 47, 50, 71, 95, 109.
