• rom tv<o residents of Hedd asking for permission to take the
arras registered in the licences attached to the applications
with them on their voyages to and from Persia,
In Kuwait and I believe also here it is the practice to
grant permission for ocean going dhows to carry a small quantity
of arms and ammuntion for their own protection from pirates.
i am not particularly in favour of what arc apparently small
boat owners being permitted to carry arms to Persia as I feel
that it might load to complications.
