Report that a boat from Rusel Khymah [Ra's al-Khaymah] has boarded the wreck of a British merchant ship (the Centaur ) and taken her cargo, including a quantity of indigo. Kemball asks that Hamerton seek corroboration of the rumour, which has originated from a letter received by Kemball from the native agent Non-British agents affiliated with the British Government. at Sharjah, a translation of which is enclosed in Kemball's letter on f 16.
