Willock writes that he has sent two dispatches to Bruce, dated the 26 and 29 December 1819, for the attention of Major General William Grant Keir. Willock states that if Bruce has not received these two dispatches, he is to open the accompanying packet addressed to the Honourable Mountstuart Elphinstone (not included in the file), which contains copies of the two dispatches, which can be sent on to Grant Kier.
