Content: The letter concerns water supplies to Britain's military force in the Gulf. In the letter Perronet states that supplies of fresh water on the Ra's al-Khaymah coast, where he and his regiment are currently stationed, are low. He requests the urgent dispatch of three-hundred tons of water to be sent from Bushire. Perronet adds that a 'perfect state of quiet' currently exists on the coast.
