The letter relates to the refit of the Honourable Company’s Brigantine Tigris at Bombay. Anderson requests that, once refitted, the Tigris be despatched back to the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. as soon as is possible, unless another vessel can be supplied in her place.
