The letter is requesting that the Captain provides a cruizer in order to convey a letter from the Resident to Sooltan been Suggar [Sulṭān bin Saqr]. It further requests that the cruizer remains at Sharga [Sharjah] for ten days in order that it may convey Sooltan been Suggar's reply, and to permit intelligence to be collected by Ruza Ally (the Resident's agent at Sharga) regarding the destruction of the fort at Brymee.
