Letter regarding papers that Colonel Disbrowe has removed from the residency A diplomatic office of the British Government established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. , Pelly's movements around the Gulf in the forthcoming days in preparation of the potential bombing of some Wahabee [Wahhabi] ports and requesting a meeting be arranged with Aboo Esau [Abu Esau] to hear first hand about his travels with [William Gifford] Palgrave.

The recipient of this letter, James Charles Edwards, is not named however the incoming letter to this one can be found at Mss Eur F126/44, ff 6-7
