The letter is informing the Bombay Government that the Wahabi envoy, Shaikh Abdul Azeez bin Seleem, has apologised to the Resident for the unauthorised fire that was directed at the ships of the Indian Naval Squadron from a tower situated between Nunach and Kateef [Al-Qaṭīf] in November 1854.
