Dear Sir,
Enclosed herewith are orifice data
sheets for two changes which have been made in the
Royalty Gas Metering System. These sheets are for
R-l8 and R-19) "Fuel Gas to No.3 Crude Unit Furnaces"♦
Due to an increased amount of gas being consumed in
these furnaces the meter range tubes have been
changed to keep readings within chart limits. The
orifice plates have not been altered, but the change
in range tubes necessitates a change in factor, which
appears on the attached sheets.
Please acknowledge receipt of sheets
for Book Nos. 3 and 4, using the enclosed forms. In
order to avoid any chance of a bookholder retaining an
obsolete sheet in his file, please return also the two
.obsolete sheets for these meters, namely, GE-92484-0a
(R-18) and GE-92494-O (R-19).
