ending with your Deni-official letter dated the 10th July 1914
on thic subject will you please inform me whelipr the claims of
Wonckhaus and Co. were finally Settled prior to the war or if
not whether they are now recognized. I ask because I have
reason to believe that Strick Scott A Co. desire to obtain a
concession to mine and export this oxide from the Sheikh of
Sharjah, and I shall be glad to be informed whether we are no#
at liberty to afford assistance to British firms in this
connection.
