Bahrain and the -astern and General Syndicate, setting out
the conditione governing the proposed aeeignaent*
In paragraph C of the eohedule to that Agreement
the Bahrain Petroleum Company undertook at all tinea to
maintain in Bahrain m official to be ©ailed the "Ghief

representative of the Ooapany empowered to deal direct with
the local authorities and population, and it wae stipulated
that for the first five years after the said Bahrain Petro
leum Coopany Limited started to operate in Bahrain
