The letter is informing the Bombay Government that Hoosein Ali Meerza [Ḥusayn ‘Alī Mirzā], Prince at Sheraz [Shiraz], and his brother Hassan Ali Meerza are expected daily at Shiraz. It further informs the Government that Meerza Baukie Aukee and the Governors of Bunder Abbas [Bandar-e ʻAbbās] are being held 'in irons' at Muscat by Sa‘īd bin Sultān Āl Sa‘īd, the Imam of Muscat.
