Correspondence concerning the fittings for the Bahrain Political Agency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, headed by an agent. launch. The correspondence discusses how the equipment could be suited to the extreme heat and humidity as advised by the Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. . The papers include:

  • Brochures for yacht toilets,
  • Brochures for overhead compasses.
  • Brochures for radio receivers (Eddystone 556).
  • Marine lighting, batteries.
  • Brochures for yacht dinghy.
  • Certificates of insurance.

The file also includes the blueprint and diagrams for plan of proposed office building at Bahrain for the Political Resident A senior ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul General) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Residency. in the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. including the electrical installations (ff 310-312). The blueprint was prepared by the Executive Engineer, Iraq Petroleum Company, Bushire Sub Division in April 1946.
