A treatise on meteorological divination attributed to the prophet Daniel, divided into two parts:

  • Part 1 (ff. 37r-48v);
  • Part 2 ( فصل آخر على حكمة دانيال عليه السلام; ff. 48v-64r).

Begins (f. 37r, lines 3-6):قال دانيال عليه السلام إذا أردت أنْ تعلم أحوال السنة

من أولها إلى آخرها وما يحدث بها من الخير والشر

فانظر إلى أي يوم يدخل كانون الثاني وانظر إلى شرحه في أيام السبعة

تعلم ما يكون في تلك السنة من الخير والشر وهذا أشرح الأيام السبعة

Ends (f. 64r, lines 10-13)

... فإنه يكون مطر وتهلك رجال المسلمون (!) وإن كان

فيه ضباب أو انكسفت فيه شمس لمق الناس خوف ولعب جيش من الشرق

يهلكون وإن وقع برد فهو حمى وحكة تقع في ذلك السنة والله أعلم

وأحكم بالغيب وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم
