Porter instructs Balfour, in lieu of peace having been concluded between Amir Faisal and the Bahrain chiefs, to ensure that no vessels from Katiff [Al-Qatif] are interfered with. Instruction that Balfour demands three boats from the Kenn [Kish] chief, in lieu of those captured from the Bahrain people.
