Kemball informs the recipient that he holds a sum of money (7,763.75 Mahomed Shah Rupees Indian silver coin also widely used in the Persian Gulf. ) given by the recipient's wards, deposited with him by the outgoing Political Resident A senior ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul General) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Residency. (Lieutenant-Colonel Samuel Hennell), pending the Power of Attorney's court decision.
