Commentary by Abū al-Qāsim ‘Abd al-Raḥmān ibn Isḥāq al-Zajjājī (أبو القاسم عبد الرحمن بن إسحق الزجاجي; d. ca 950) on the Risālat adab al-kātib (رسالة أدب الكاتب) by Abū Muḥammad ‘Abd Allāh ibn Muslim ibn Qutaybah al-Dīnawarī (أبو محمد عبد الله بن مسلم بن قتيبة الدينوري; d. ca 889).

Begins (f. 41r, line 2):

أما بعد أمتع الله الكرم ببقائك وزين الدنيا بغرتك وعضد أهل العلم بامتداد أيامك عزيزًا

Ends (f. 58v, lines 26-27):

والتجرد من الشياب كأنه لما جعل تمرها للمعري غراها من التمر وهي

التي رخص في بيع تمرها قبل أن يصرم
