The letter concerns the procurement of raw silk, carmenian wool, and Persian carpets for the 'Europe Investment'. It is noted that the Resident hopes that the silk and the carpets ordered will arrive at Bushire in time to be transported to Bombay via the Duncan Country Ship. It is explained that the wool requested on the other hand cannot be supplied at present, as it is in high demand in Persia itself.
