Arab strain is still perceptible, but the beauty of their rounded proportions has
been lost. Ridden early and over a difficult country, and fed chiefly on fodder
they soon age. Although their appearance is jaded, they possess muscle and
endurance. An average height is U hands, and price 100 to 150 rupees Indian silver coin also widely used in the Persian Gulf. A
good horse will fetch 300 to 400 rupees Indian silver coin also widely used in the Persian Gulf. . There are very few g-ood Arab
stallions now left in the country.

Gulf Arabs are free from vice and sure-footed; their heads are small;
