Informal group photograph on the beach at Aden prior to departure for India.

From left: Lord Suffolk [Henry Howard, 19th Earl of Suffolk], A.D.C. to the Resident at Aden, Mr Meade, Mr Lawrence, Capt. Marker, Lord Curzon, Resident at Aden [Charles Alexander Cunningham or Sir Garrett O'Moore Creagh], Lady Mary Curzon.

In the background, the same buildings seen in Photo 430/75/6 are visible.

Dimensions:

120 x 168 mm

Condition:

The image is buckled and foxed along with the card it is mounted upon. Black staining marks along the lower edge probably originate in the printing process. Light surface dirt throughout.
