The letter concerns the theft of cargo from a vessel at Sharjah. Jones writes that details of the incident were sent to Anderson in a letter dated 15 December 1855, and that further reports will be sent once Commodore Richard Ethersey, Commanding Officer Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. Squadron, has completed his current investigations.
