Epitome.
General Description. —A caravan route along one of the chief
lines of internal communication in Central Arabia. It is fre
quently unsafe owing to marauding Bedouins. The route
presents no physical difficulty except perhaps where it crosses
Jabal Salmah during stage 2,
Water. —Neither very abundant nor \ cry good.
Fuel. —Scarce but sufficient for the requirements of cara
vans.
F odder. —Sufficient camel grazing for caravans.
Supplies.—Nil, except at Buraidah, where there are a num
ber of transport and slaughter animals.
