tails of theflieep were furpnzingly large and unwieldy; they could not
weigh lefs than from 20 to 40 pounds each, and were made up of verv

bary, but never any of equal flze with thefe, whofe weight was fuch that
the poor creatures could not run; they only walked, or rather waddled-
