Greener Mark III" Police Guns and 200 rounds of soecial
gauge ammunition which were imported under No Objection
Certificate 1-0,12 of 1949» The Company wish to apply for
lire Arm Licenses for these guns which carrv the serial
numbers 2793, 2794, 2795 and 2796 respectively. If
licensing formalities necessitate the production of the
weapons at your office, please advise me and this will be
arranged.
As soon as the licenses are issued the Company
wish to institute the procedure described, in my letter
referred to above and, in order to avoid any misunderstanding
or comment, I shall be grateful if you will confirm that the"
local authorities concerned are informed of the imminent
commencement of this arrangement.

These correspondence include BAPCO's 1949 request for certification for the import and possession of arms for their European Guards who transfer cash from Manama banks to their headquarters at Awali.
