The file contains correspondence between the Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. in Bahrain, the Financial Adviser to the Government at Bahrain, Charles Dalrymple Belgrave, and representatives of the Bahrain Petroleum Company Limited (BAPCO) on shipments of oil and movements of tankers and ships in and out of Sitra terminus.

The file includes crew list for the first trip of the tanker El Segundo , and copies of Marine Delivery Tickets showing the amount of oil shipped from Sitra between 1935 and 1936.
